DESCRIPTION:There are two workshops: (10/18) is in Spanish\,  (10/19) is in English \n  \nSpecial Education 101 presented by Parents Helping Parents. \nIn Spanish on Tuesday\, October 18 from 7-9 PM at Castro Elementary in Mountain View.\nIn English on Wednesday\, October 19 from 7-9 PM at Santa Rita Elementary in Los Altos. \nBack by popular demand: This training will offer a brief overview of the educational rights of parents when a child has a disability. Topics will include general education supports\, student study team meetings\, Section 504\, special education referral and assessment timeline\, eligibility\, and important key rights held by the parent and child.
